Hi, I'm Laura McGuinness...

I am a psychologist who specializes in jewelry! I love to make one of a kind creations, just so you have something unique to wear. (And also because repetition bores me silly!) 

I am inspired by nature, textures, birds, colors, and things that are funny. I used to make my own cards and invitations. One day I wandered into a bead store, looking for the right beads for hair for one of my creations. The rest is history.

I make one-of-a-kind creations using semiprecious stones, sterling silver, copper, and gold-filled items. I also make things with Precious Metal Clay. Precious Metal Clay is fine silver mixed with organic binders. It is a boring gray clay when you take it out of the package. I texture the clay, refine the piece, and then fire it in a kiln. Then I add a patina and polish it. What's left is fine silver!
